Abstract Team conflict is a common occurrence in organizations. It can arise from differences in personalities, goals, values, and perceptions. If left unchecked, it can lead to decreased productivity and morale. Therefore, managing team conflict is essential for organizational success. This paper examines the causes of team conflict and the strategies for managing it. It also discusses the role of leadership in resolving conflicts and creating a positive work environment where conflicts are managed effectively. Finally, it suggests ways to prevent team conflict from occurring in the first place by fostering collaboration among team members and encouraging open communication.
